What's your favorite 90s band?

Today's sloth casts a solid vote for Salt N Pepa. He just can't get enough of those rapid bitchy lyrics, hilarious rhymes and floppy Day-Glo outfits. He even bought a new blanket in their favorite colors, fuschia and lime green. Turn your speakers up for him!!

Today's sloth needs a little help.

She had to go get her little slothy gums cleaned, and she didn't know how much it was going to hurt!! She has to eat soft things for the rest of the day, brush gently and be careful about flossing. She's going to curl up on a towel now and take a nap, and try to forget about it by dreaming of clouds and turtles.

Sloths love Netflix!

And sloths across the country are curling up with their favorite movies RIGHT NOW so you should definitely do the same. Popcorn, a stuffed dog and a small fan will go just great with it. Happy viewing!!

Moving time!!

Time to pack up the books and wrap the dishes in underwear!! And don't forget your favorite sloth, who will help you by smiling and wagging her head slowly while you sweat and schlep. Bring a few plants for her so she doesn't go hungry.

Today's sloth is super excited because she took her very first ride on a motorcycle today!! The wind whipping through her hair and the greenery whizzing by were sights and sounds to behold indeed. Stay tuned for further adventures of Biker Sloths. (They're SO CUTE in leather.)

Yes, even sloths can't wait for the longest day of the year. They do so love to soak up the sun's bountiful rays and lay around in the grass - almost as much as they love draping themselves upon one another. Follow their lead and curl up with a fellow member of your species (or heck, another one) today!!

Today's sloth is hardly bigger than a pea! Let alone a breadbasket! He fits in the palm of your hand like he's always belonged there. And in fact, he has. All of us at slothoftheday wish that were *our* fingers grasping such cuddly cuteness. But it's a small comfort that you can look at him whenever you like, as long as you have eyes and an internet connection.

It's raining, it's pouring

Just a little tongue...

A little pink tongue to brighten up your morning. Did you know it can take a sloth up to one entire month to digest a meal? Maybe that's why they only eat plants, and rarely show their tongues. Today's sloth is not at all modest and displays it for the world to see. Perhaps he's hungry; perhaps he hasn't eaten in six weeks! Give him some leaves if you can find any.

It's a beautiful day, the birds are singing, the garden is growing and today's sloth had a wonderful morning drinking tea and talking quietly with her friends. Isn't life just grand? Squeeeee!
